Hopkins Chapel Mia. Irk Tempi* Remember the revival which be gins April 17-23. Rev. Johnny Caldwell will be the visiting min ister. He is a former pastor of Hopkins Chapel. Minerva Perry, Ollie Gay, Bet tie M. Perry, Polly Brannan and I attended the WMU Association at the Wake Forest Baptist Church, last Friday afternoon and night. Mrs. Ada Doyle fell down her back door steps recently. She is up now. Mrs. Jane Baker, Mrs. Rica Ray, Ruby Gay and Virginia C. May, are all sick. The Alton Stricklands of Rocky Cross visited the B. S. Doyles Sun day. The G. H. Doyles, the Robert Doyles, Graylon and Millie Doyle visited the Jack Medlins in Greens boro Sunday. Jack is Mrs. G. H. Doyle’s Brother. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Cope of Corinth, Hoyle, Doug and Jinky Bunn of Durham were recent visi tors at my house. Averettes of a Ra leigh Route, visited the Raymond Averettes Sunday. Jo Ann Horton of Raleigh vis ited the Fred Hortons Sunday. Pilot News Branatta Bar Mrs. Bruce Young and children of Raleigh visited her sister, Mrs. Crama Ray, Sunday afternoon. Glen Lewis of Amarillo AFB in Texas, has been visiting his par ents for the past ten days. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Hagwood were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hagwood and family of Bal timore. Mrs. O. D. Stallings, Jr., of Ra leigh visited Mrs. Hubert Bunn last week. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Stallings of New York were in the commu nity visiting relatives. Mrs. Stal lings is employed with the Wen dell-Zebulon Hospital. Weekend guests of Mrs. Lonnie Stallings were Mr. and Mrs. Gor don Mercia, Carrol and Gene of Newport News, Va. Mr. and Mrs. James B. Liner of i Delaware spent last week with Mrs. Liner’s mother, Mrs. Lillie Stal lings. Weekend visitors of Mrs. Claud Lewis were Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Lewis of Spartanburg, S. C. We welcome Mrs. Edward E. Tant into our community. She is the former Miss Diane Pool of Zebulon. Mrs. Rachel Brantley, Mrs. Gene Perry, Mrs. Hildreth Perry, and Mrs. Flossie Perry visited the Duke Gardens Easter Monday. Mrs. Flossie Perry, Mrs. Elsie Brantley and Mrs. Billie Brantley visited Mrs. Leona Whitley at Union Hope Sunday afternoon. Weekend visitors of Mrs. Emma Lewis were Mr. and Mrs. John Lockamy of Durham and Mr. and Mrs. Foster Lewis of Zebulon. Mrs. Lonnie Jones is recovering nicely now. She is able to have visitors. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Massey recently were the Paul Williams of Raleigh. Her daugh ters, Libbie and Sherral of Rich mond, Va., and the Curtis Wil liams and son of Rolesville. House guests for a couple of days last week of Mrs. Clifton Ray were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray and children of Norfolk, Va. Mr. and Mrs. James Barham of Knightdale and Mr. and Mrs. Bob by Ray of Bailey visited Mrs. Do mie Bunn during the weekend. Charlene and Hubie Horton, children of the Waddell Hortons, were sick with a virus for a few days. Dannie Massey and Gerald Brantley were home last week for the Spring holidays. Mrs. Vera Rhodes and Mrs. L. J. Glover spent Thursday with Mrs. Jack Glover of Knightdale. Mrs. Vera Rhodes attended the installation of officers at the Ma sonic Temple in Raleigh last Thursday night of Khyan Court No. 54. Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Inc. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Hodge, Jr., are attending the National Pro bation and Patrol Conference in Durham. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Price and boys have moved to their new home at Wakefield. Mrs. Helen Jones sold a lovely bed quilt to Mrs. Marvin Winstead for $20.00 to build up the Home Demonstration Club Treasury. Rev. Horace Hamm, pastor of Wakefield Church, has gone to Im manuel Baptist Church in Knox ville, Tenn., to hold a revival. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Winstead at Durham visited Mbs. Helen Jones Sunday afternoon. Also his parents, the W. H. Winsteads. Mrs. Mamie Kimball is visiting her son in Norfolk, Va., this week. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbourne Sutton and Jean were in Tennessee over the weekend to attend Mrs. Sut ton’s mother’s burial Sunday. Horace Winstead has been visit ing the W. H. Winsteads for a few days.
